Do You Have Hormonal Imbalance?

Adrenal Fatigue Symptom Check - Results

You are likely to be suffering from Adrenal Fatigue.

Based on the symptoms you have selected it is possible that your adrenal glands are out of balance or at least not optimal for you. One of the main hormones made in your adrenal glands is cortisol and too much and too little of it can cause symptoms.

High Cortisol

Cortisol is made in your adrenal glands and too much cortisol can cause you to gain weight around your tummy, thighs, arms and breasts. You have acne that reminds you of being a teenager and skin that bruises with the smallest bump. You might find your hair grows thicker on your body or face and you don't seem to sleep that well anymore. You feel tired but too wired to sleep. The most common cause of excess cortisol is an autoimmune disease called Cushing Syndrome or you have been taking too much hydrocortisone.

Low Cortisol

Cortisol is made in your adrenal glands and low cortisol can make you feel like the walking dead! You are exhausted no matter how much sleep you get. You feel quite negative and can sometimes come across as quite irrational. You might find that you dissolve into tears in the most unexpected places or at the most unexpected times! You can feel dizzy, particularly when you stand up, and you suffer from nausea so often that you wonder if your blood sugar is too low. The most common cause of low cortisol is an autoimmune disease called Addison’s disease.

An Important Note About Cortisol

One of the most confusing hormones is cortisol... quite often women will report symptoms that suggest both high and low cortisol. And I think I know what you’re thinking!

It seems like a huge contradiction but the tricky thing with cortisol is that it naturally varies throughout the day.

For those without cortisol imbalances they will wake with high cortisol levels to get them moving for the day that drop by lunchtime and then drop even further by evening to prepare them for sleep.

So... someone with cortisol imbalances might have both high and low issues. They might suffer from low cortisol in the morning and high in the evening which means they would experience a full spectrum of symptoms.

Adrenal Fatigue is one of the more common hormone imbalances we see in women around the world so we have create a book just for those of us who have issues with our adrenal glands and cortisol levels. To find out more visit
